Scott was “obsessed” with money and was paid $50 million by “CryptoQueen” Ruja Ignatova, the fugitive head of the global OneCoin cryptocurrency scam, for helping her launder $400 million, prosecutors told a Manhattan jury Wednesday.

The 51-year-old Scott’s massive earnings were front-and-center as the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office and the New York County district attorney’s office made their pitch for a conviction after a trial before U.S. District Judge Edgardo Ramos that opened on Nov. 5.
